LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part (2019)

LEGO Movie 2 is the sequel to the LEGO Movie which now finds Emmett (Chris Pratt) and his friends living in a dystopian, apocalyptic world as the boy’s sister is now allowed to play with LEGO’S and takes over. Once Lucy (Elizabeth Banks) and his friends are taken, it is up to Emmet to save them, but what he doesn’t know is that he may end up hurting his friends more than helping them.

LEGO Movie 2 is a fun, enjoyable, family film. However, it’s not as smart or inventive as it’s predecessor. The voice cast is great again in their roles, I enjoyed Chris Pratt in his other role as Rex Dangervest and Tiffany Haddish as the Queen. I was also surprised about how much I enjoyed some of the original songs in the film, especially the end credits song.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018)

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom takes place a few years after Jurassic World in which a volcano becomes active and the dinosaurs are in danger of becoming extinct again so it is up to Claire (Bryan Dallas Howard) and Owen (Chris Pratt) to save the dinosaurs. Though they later get caught up in a scheme where dinosaurs get auctioned off.

Yeah that premise makes little to no sense at all. These films are so stupid now. And this whole film is a basically set up for the final third film, which means we’re getting what title says – Jurassic World. Just so you know, I don’t like the first Jurassic World, I don’t like this one, and I doubt that I will like the next one. It repeats a lot of beats from the last movie, there’s nothing new and if there is new stuff than it’s dumb.
