Birds of Prey takes place after Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and the Joker have broken up. With a hit now on her head, she is wanted by Black Mask (Ewan McGregor), but ends up working with Black Canary (Jurnee Smollet-Bell), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez) to protect a little girl named Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco) from this rising villain.

The Boys is a show on Amazon Prime that shatters the idealistic superhero concept that has swept the world today. It revolves around Hughie (Jack Quaid), who decides to take revenge on the superhero who killed his girlfriend. He meets Butcher (Karl Urban), who has a similar revenge plot for all superheroes, especially The Seven.

Spider-Man: Far From Home takes place a couple of months after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Peter Parker (Tom Holland) goes on a class trip to Europe where he plans to confess how he feels to MJ (Zendaya). However, Nick Fury (Samuel L. The Punisher Season 2 (Netflix)

Season 2 of The Punisher finds Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) keeping a low profile until a troubled teen named Amy (Giorgia Whingham) gets hit-men after her and Frank reverts back to killing to protect her. Billy Russo (Ben Barnes) also finds himself recovering and doesn’t remember what he did and what happened to him, with Agent Madani (Amber Rose Revah) keeping a close eye on him.

Season two was a big disappointment for me, it was a big step down from the first season. These 13 episodes really need to be trimmed down by Netflix (though I doubt we’ll have anymore Marvel/Netflix shows). There is more action this season, but none of it wowed me.

Aquaman (2018)

Aquaman revolves around Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) as Mera (Amber Heard) recruits him to become the king of Atlantis and to stop his half-brother, Orm (Patrick Wilson), from uniting the seven seas to wage war on the surface.

Director, James Wan, previously known for horror films such as The Conjuring and Insidious brings a lighthearted, but conventional superhero flick to life. He was able to create amazing visuals which I think is the film’s greatest strength.

Venom surrounds reporter, Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy), as he investigates the Life Foundation and it’s founder Carlton Drake (Riz Ahmed). He finds out that Drake is experimenting with alien symbiotes so that the human race can live in space and Eddie gets infected with one named Venom.

Okay so Venom is not terrible movie like many critics have claimed, but it also isn’t good movie. First off, the dialogue is pretty atrocious, but because of that, the film takes a humorous tone to it. Tom Hardy and Venom’s relationship was enjoyable and the humor in the film made it fun.

Today is the 10th Anniversary of the release of Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight. It’s hard to believe that this film came out 10 years ago, when I was only 10 years old!

The Dark Knight surrounds Batman (Christian Bale) when a new foe named the Joker (Heath Ledger) wrecks total havoc on Gotham City. With the help of Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and the district attorney, Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), they do their best to stop the Joker and the chaos erupting all over Gotham.
